There's the fact that, with no proper handhelds left now, they'd be developing an Ace Attorney on the ground up for a console experience, too, which would take some adjustments from how the series was before. There are no current plans for it to be released in the West, to the dismay of many Ace Attorney fans. From another perspective, you could see the thought that AA6 seems like a decent "stopping point," too. Capcom revealed the latest look at Ace Attorney 6 with a trailer from Tokyo Game Show 2015 that showcases some of its gameplay and its new courtroom features. There's the concern that underwhelming performance of recent Ace Attorney games is making Capcom reluctant to focus on the series moving forward.
